Place Tack Shooters at every corner of the track. Bloons slow down when turning, spending more time in the Tack Shooter's range and taking multiple hits per pass.
Set up Ice Towers to freeze bloons in a concentrated area, then surround with Bomb Towers. The frozen bloons take full damage from explosions, creating an efficient kill zone.
Survive early rounds with minimal towers and save aggressively for a Super Monkey. Once placed, a single Super Monkey can handle most mid-game threats, freeing up money for upgrades or a second Super Monkey.
Concentrate your strongest towers near the track entrance. Popping bloons early means their child bloons have the entire track to travel, giving you maximum time to deal with them.
From weakest to strongest: Red → Blue → Green → Yellow → Rainbow. Each bloon contains the previous color inside. A Rainbow bloon eventually releases 47 red bloons when fully popped!
Frozen bloons are immune to sharp projectiles (Dart Monkeys, Tack Shooters). Use Bomb Towers or wait for them to thaw. This Ice Tower mechanic encourages strategic tower combinations.
Super Monkeys are expensive but worth it. Aim to afford one by round 30-35. Before that, rely on cheaper towers. One Super Monkey with upgrades can carry you through most of the game.
Dart Monkeys are the most versatile starting tower. They're cheap, have good range, and upgrades make them effective throughout the game. Place 3-4 near the entrance to start.
Fast bloons (Yellow, Rainbow) require high attack speed towers. Super Monkeys are ideal. Alternatively, use Ice Towers to slow them down, giving your other towers more time to attack.
